「新婦」台語是講 sim-pū 毋是 sin-pū

華語〔媳婦〕个意思，台語老早就講 sim-pū，無照語源【新婦 sin-pū】个音， 雖然這是音韻上「逆同化作用」个關係（ n ➞ m / _ p ）， 但是既然是各地一致个音變，就應該尊存。

臺日大辭典(1931)所有相關个詞攏是 sim-pū，像 sim-pū-á、sun-sim-pū、sin-sim-pū。 （伊漢字無用「新」字，是訓用「媳婦」。）

毋但台日典是按呢，連廈英大辭典(1873)、廈英大辭典補編(1923) 都攏仝款， 干焦有收 sim-pū，無 sin-pū。

閣揣教會公報資料庫，總共有 220 篇文章寫著 sim-pū，但是寫 sin-pū 个文一篇都無！

教台典坐時光機轉去毋知幾百年前，將 sim-pū 一律復古做 sin-pū 來叫現代台語儂改喙， 完全無承認 sim-pū 即條通行超過 150 冬以上个語言現象。連「娶新婦」个方言差表， 十个方言點也攏全部改做 tshuā-sin-pū，即種記錄違逆[uî-ke̍h]語言事實。

我無主張 sim-pū 个漢字愛寫「媳婦」，即種訓用法無比「新婦」較好。 我也毋是主張講袂使得收 sin-pū 个「古正音」來配搭本字「新婦」， 總--是，完全擦消 sim-pū 蓋毋好！

佇教典目前个體例限制之下，上無嘛著將詞目【新婦】个音讀欄標做 「sin-pū 又唸作 sim-pū」。

我即篇文昨昏鋪佇面冊〈華語〔媳婦〕台語是講 sim-pū 毋是 sin-pū〉{.target=”_blank”} 有得著洪惟仁教授來留言賜教，如下：

文字上卜照古音標示，抑是照現代音標示，這無定著。英語know、often，無發音个字照寫。 日本古早用「歷史假名遣」，戰後才改做「現代假名遣」。戰後卡注重實際發音。 台語「新婦」sin-pū > sim-pū、「新聞」sin-bûn > sim-bûn、 「身軀」sin-khu > sing-khu、「番麥」huan-beh > huam-beh……， 愈常用，同化个例愈儕。因為是有規則个，是毋是有同化也無一致，語源化袂使講毋著， 講是「本字本音強迫症」傷過嚴重。外國人傳教士、臺日典紀錄閩南語、台語， 聽著啥貨記啥貨，怹無語文規劃个企圖，無一定愛考慮語源个問題，無將拼音音位化、 語源化的問題，這會凍理解。教典徛佇文字規劃个立場，標示本音是應該， 但是若會凍兼注實際發音當然閣卡好。至於方言差表應該記實際發音，「娶新婦」寫做 tshuā-sin-pū，扭曲語言事實，無應該。
